Code Enforcement

The Code Enforcement Department of Crowley has two divisions -- the first being Code Enforcement and the second being Animal Control.

Code Enforcement enforces a variety of regulations that deal with the development, use and maintenance of property. The purpose of the Code Enforcement Department is the practical safeguarding of persons and property from hazards and to work with the public as well as the city and parish in any way that will improve the quality of life in the City of Crowley.

Animal Control

The Crowley Animal Shelter is a program that effectively treats the symptoms while seeking to eliminate the causes by compassionately using the tools of education and enforcement.

Animal Control Fees

• Euthanasia $10.00
• Cat trap rental $25.00
• Out-of-town animal pickup $50.00
• Quarantined animal housing $15.00 per day
• Unwanted animal pickup $10.00
• Animal adoptions $10.00 plus shelter fee
