2010 Carnival d’Acadie poster contest winners announced.

Crowley, LA – Thirteen original and unique entries were submitted and judged for the 10th Annual Carnival d’Acadie poster contest. Margaret Young announced the winner, Mrs. Laurie D. Bellard and second place entries being Crowley High Art student, Destiny Meadows. Third place was awarded to Crowley High Art student, Nicholas Pridgeon.
According to Mayor Greg A. Jones, “All of the posters were well done and truly represented the Crowley Mardi Gras spirit.“ 2010 Carnival d’Acadie posters will be on sale at Crowley City Hall. Posters will be $20 signed and $10 unsigned.
